Vista Estate - Carramar House

The Vista estate was designed for automotive homes that work with the incredible landscapes. Each of the properties adorns an acre block and incredible an hinterland outlook.

This home offers strong but neutral colour based on a lovely combination of various Teak, Oak and Blackburn timbers.

With touches of Black and Olive to mirror the windows and colours throughout the valley.

Comfortable yet edgey allows this display home to work for a diversity of clients with young families or retiring to a “tree change”

Seaside House

An eclectic group of artwork, artifacts and random items adorn 60 Seaside Drive. If you are directed to a large brass crocodile head the mickey mouse figure that lives in the kitchen may take your fancy.

This project was difficult ... as It was my own home and I was the hardest client to please with the worst budget!

Back bedrooms did not become a priority in terms of spending as I always advise my clients the budget should be divided into the areas you spend most your time such as living, dining and master. So we got creative and used things such as vintage suitcases as a bedside table. A old tea-chest another bedside table but ensured the art whether it be framed artworks or an aboriginal painting had colour, life and personality to bring the room together.

The living room feature is the gorgeous artwork by Shayle Flesser ... one of my first ever purchases of original artwork. The colours and strength are repeated through the rug, scatter cushions and coffee table. It’s a combination of timber, marble and upholstery. The custom made buffet was made from recycled timber offcuts, so giving the space so much texture to work with.

The entry is strong with a large black wall telling a story of different artworks, styles and representations of my husband and I.

The floor plan of this home was based around having a close pool that when the day came we could be in the living room or kitchen watching over children in the pool.

The one story home is casual, easy and low maintenance, its very practical in we don't have alot of wasted space. This home was the first we designed and built together and although we think its perfect we are ready to go again and endeavour on another project together trialing new finishes, ideas and creations!

This project was featured on the cover (and inside) of Queensland Homes magazine, issue Spring/Summer 2018/19.

Burleigh Headland - Project Two

Coastal appliance and luxury finishes were two of the main concepts when designing this four bedroom apartment.

High end foil strips and grassweave wallpapers were used to create layers of texture and sheen.

A custom entertainment unit was locally crafted from solid American oak and cane rattan inserts for a sleek look with seaside reference.

A refined Oak dining table was paired with upholstered chairs that include modern black stained legs to give the apartment small punches of depth.

A Coco Republic tufted leather ottoman meant the living room was to be used casually and comfortably giving everyone a “feet up” option while substituting the traditional coffee table but an oversized woven tray allowed the display of coastal books and coral whilst making a stable place for your morning coffee.

The clients like to be able to pack up and travel so easy luxury includes high quality finishes with low maintenance.

The Master Bedroom palette consisted of alabaster carved lamps. Sea grass wrapped bedsides and a stripe foil wallpaper. Every element in the space was kept neutral for a subtle palette that was made up of various layers of texture of high quality product delivering a royal result.

Burleigh Headland - Project One

This penthouse apartment boasts the best views of the Gold Coast so the interior needed to mimic such a spectacular outlook.

The wallpaper in the entry is custom made Phillip Jeffies. The wallpaper is a beige linen fabric with chrome studs. We repeated this wallpaper in the living room without the stud detail.

With custom upholstery throughout and Zuster American oak furniture accents this penthouse exudes extravagant detailing.

The Master bedroom incorporates a herringbone timber buffet, oversized mirror feature Kelly Wearstler lamps and timber veneer wallpaper. The layering of texture and tone on tone colour showcase refinement yet offer an exclusive retreat.

Diamontime

This jewellery store has been family owned and run for generations.

When the younger dynamic duo in the family took over this required modern sharp, edges finishes with punches of Navy velvet.

The herringbone floor greets customers and showcases custom cabinetry with gorgeous clusters of chandeliers.

We ensured the floor plan had enough space to allow a seating area for private viewings and events held in store (not to mention husbands with tired feet)

The jewellery store is all reflected with a smoke mirror wall that opens the store and adds that extra sparkle.

Palm Beach, Sydney Residence

Coastal, Comfortable and Livable are most certainly the key components to this house. With all the living dining, Master and Alfresco on one level the home is open and modern. With European oak flooring custom upholstery and the stone fireplace this residence is as stunning interanlly as the beautiful Palm Beach outlook.

High Flyer

Set in the chic D'bah apartment building this sophisticated apartment flaunts bold beauty. Showcasing a strong black and white scheme with fresh turquoise accents honouring the incredible 180 degree ocean views.

Modern Manor

This family home on the Gold Coast had a huge makeover when both the clients and I decided to gut the entire home and open the whole space up. Adding bi-fold doors and a large living and dining room meant this young family had more than enough space to entertain, hang and play.

Rochdale Display Home

This display home  just south of Brisbane needed to appeal to a large market so we kept the palette neutral and added strong features through the use of charcoal and black features. The display home was scheduled to be open 3-5 years so ensuring things would remain in vogue whilst creating impact to new buyers were a main priority for this project.

Dutton Street Residence

Colour, Texture and quirk are the main contributing factors to this eclectic Coolangatta home. The Grass weave wallpaper combined with the over dyed Turkish rug create an interesting space. This room features so many cool key pieces such as the concave mirrors or hand made vintage bowling pins there is personality in every inch of the space.

Beech Lane

This Casuarina family home was completed in 2016. This beach front property was a eclectic mix of styles to match a young artistic family.

We incorporated natural timbers, tan leather and a mix of metal finishes to create a contemporary beach front family home.

New Arrival

It was with great anticipation this nursery was set up. Whilst waiting for the new arrival the sex of baby remained unknown so using natural colours along with a fresh white base we made a mini sanctuary for both mother and baby. Cane furiniture, striped wallpaper and Animal prints work together to add personality and interest whilst keeping the space calm and soothing.

Office Etiquette

Working with a young boutique law firm allowed this project to explore a darker colour palette and feature some bold black hounds tooth wallpaper. Stearing away from the traditional safe solicitor colour palette enable an energetic space that was professional yet adventurious.

Longboard Circuit

Situated in Salt, Kingscliff this Hampton themed home showcases the traditional Coastal colour palette of ocean blues mixed with Sandy neutrals.

Layers of linen and light timber furniture are relaxed yet classic and inviting.

Apartment 405

This beach front apartment is a modern collection of unique pieces including artworks, sculptures and hand knotted rugs throughout. Each piece is unique almost as though collected over a lifetime each telling its own story.

The outlook of this home is spectacular along with the collection of adornments adding character and interest to the modern apartment.
